Minnie Taw, MD
Owner
Dr. Taw received her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. She is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Obesity Medicine and has a Masters in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. She is a certified yoga instructor, as well as a health and wellness coach. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, exercising, looking up new recipes, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and two children. One of her favorite pastimes is learning new things—her latest is the piano and skiing.
“It is so amazing to see what weight loss and changing one’s diet and lifestyle can do to improve various diseases, risk factors, and overall health—both mind and body. Food is medicine—and we need to think of it as a “way of life” rather than a temporary diet. This is my passion in medicine and I love what I do. My patients inspire me every day and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide hope and to be part of their journey towards better health.”
